About Honda

Honda isn’t just a big name in the automobile market, they are also the largest producer of motorcycles in the world.

They also are the largest producer of engines, selling many of them to other automakers thanks to their well-known reliability, efficiency and value-for-money.

Alongside these key areas for the company they also have a large presence in other industrial sectors including power generation and robotics.

Honda was also the first Japanese automobile company to launch a dedicated luxury brand (Acura), several years before Toyota and Nissan did the same thing.

Producing automobiles wasn’t conducted by the company until the 1960s, 20 years after it formed.

Honda began with a tiny Kei truck that was built for the local domestic market before moving onto a 2-door roadster a year later.

Over the next few years, the company would release a van for commercial vehicles and a sedan called the Accord before the end of the 1960s.

Over the years since the company has managed to have a class-beating line in almost all sectors of the market that offers value-for-money thanks to its automatic production technology.
